Excavator Buckets for Sale

Excavator buckets are the workhorse attachment of any earthmoving fleet. Whether you operate a 5-tonne mini-ex or a 30-tonne heavy machine, the right bucket profile and steel grade determine cycle time, fuel use, and the lifespan of your wear edges. The buckets in this category cover the full European spectrum: standard digging buckets for sand and gravel, narrow trenching buckets for cable and pipe runs, ditching profiles for grading slopes, and heavy-duty rock buckets reinforced with Hardox 500 and bolt-on side cutters for hard clay, frost-bound soil, and quarry rock.

We supply two complementary brands. GORE buckets target operators who need maximum life in the toughest conditions — Hardox 500 throughout, dual-bolt cutting edges, 3-year warranty. AWA delivers reliable everyday performance at the most competitive price point — 400-grade wear plate, 2-year warranty, in stock for fast dispatch. Every bucket on this page lists its compatible quick-hitch standard (S40, S45, S60, S70 or S80) and tonnage range, so you can match the attachment to your machine before you order.

How Do You Choose the Right Bucket Width?

Bucket width should be matched to your machine’s tonnage and the work you do most. As a rule of thumb: 300–400mm for cable and trenching work, 600mm as the everyday all-rounder for 8–16t machines, 800–1000mm for bulk earthmoving on 16–25t excavators, and 1200mm+ for ditching and grading on heavy machines. A wider bucket fills faster but costs you breakout force and cycle time in hard ground — so most contractors carry two: a narrow trencher and a wider profile bucket.

What Hitch Standard Do You Need?

European excavators run five common quick-hitch standards: S40 (3–6t mini), S45 (5–9t), S60 (8–16t — the most universal), S70 (16–25t), and S80 (25t+). Every bucket in this category is sold pre-fitted to a specific hitch — pick yours from the chip filter above, or use the Quick Hitch Finder to confirm what your machine runs. Buckets can be re-pinned to a different standard at our workshop in Saltsjö-Boo if you’re changing fleet.

Which Hitch Standard Fits Your Excavator?

Match your machine’s operating weight to its hitch standard, then pick a bucket pinned to that standard.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do these buckets fit Volvo, CAT, JCB, and Komatsu excavators?
Yes. We supply buckets pinned to all five common European hitch standards (S40, S45, S60, S70, S80) which between them cover the vast majority of Volvo, CAT, JCB, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Kubota, and Doosan models. Use the hitch filter above to narrow to the standard your machine runs. If you’re unsure, our Quick Hitch Finder maps your specific make and model to the correct standard.
What is the difference between 400-grade and 500-grade wear steel?
Wear-resistant steel comes in hardness grades. AWA buckets use a high-strength 400-grade wear steel, which gives roughly 2× the wear life of standard mild steel and is ideal for sand, gravel, and general earthmoving — at roughly 50% lower up-front cost. GORE buckets use SSAB Hardox 500, which is harder and lasts considerably longer in rock, frozen ground, and aggressive aggregate, typically paying back the higher cost in fewer rebuilds across the life of the bucket.
How long is delivery to Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark?
In-stock buckets ship from our Saltsjö-Boo warehouse within 48 hours and reach most Nordic addresses in 2–5 working days via our partner freight network. Pre-order items have a 4–6 week lead time. Shipping is free across Sweden; the EU, Norway and Denmark pay a flat freight rate shown at checkout. Wear parts ship free everywhere.
