10. Free contractor tools
The free contractor tools on attachmentwarehouse.eu are calculators from Attachment Warehouse Europe for planning groundwork: excavation volume, spoil and haul loads, job cost, buy or hire, drawing take-off, equipment planning, attachment comparison, survey cut and fill and an attachment job planner.
Every answer is an estimate worked out from the figures you enter, with the formula shown on the tool page. It is only as good as those figures. Where a tool needs a ratio, density, payload, rate or price, you supply it: the tools do not fill in material values, prices, exchange rates or tax rates for you, and an estimate is not a quotation, an invoice or an amount payable in the shop.
- Volumes and quantities are geometric estimates of the shapes you enter. They do not show safe excavation slopes, clearance from underground services or the final excavation.
- Truck loads are indicative. They use the body volume, payload and density you enter and do not confirm that a load is legal or safe to carry.
- Buy or hire compares cash costs over one period, using your own quotes. It is not a financing, tax or fleet cost model.
- Drawing take-off is only as accurate as the page scale you calibrate. It does not locate underground services or certify a design.
- Survey cut and fill reads complete rectangular grids of existing and design levels and interpolates between the grid points you enter. It is not a survey or a machine-control file, and a comparison between phases compares estimates, not measured work.
- Machines, dates and evidence in the equipment planner are your own declarations. They are not verified fit or live availability.
A calculation does not confirm that an attachment fits your machine, what load is permitted or that a site is suitable. Fit depends on your machine and hitch. Check it before you order; Attachment Warehouse Europe can help.
Buy or hire, attachment comparison, the job planner and the equipment source check send the figures you enter, or the article reference, to our tool service to work out the answer. A PDF you open in the drawing take-off is not uploaded.
