S70 Quick Hitch — Mid-Size Excavator Standard

S70 is the standard fitted to mid-size excavators in the 18–30 tonne class — the next step up from the universal S60. Common S70 carriers include the Volvo EC220, CAT 320 (some variants) and 322, JCB 220X, Komatsu PC210LC, Hitachi ZX225, Liebherr R 920, and Doosan DX225. Pin diameter is 70 mm with bracket geometry sized for the heavier hydraulics and longer reach of mid-size machines.

Attachments pinned to S70 are heavier and built to handle the higher hydraulic flows (90 to 140 L/min) that S70 carriers provide. Typical applications: heavy site prep, demolition, road construction, larger forestry operations, and aggregate handling. For S70 we focus on digging buckets and auger drives plus the matching hitch, weighted toward GORE premium given the duty cycle of these machines. We build no S70 breaker: our breakers run from S30 to S60 (G1000, 948 kg), and then S80 (A1450 / G1450, for 19 to 25 tonne carriers). Grapples top out at S60. For a hammer or grapple on an S70 carrier we re-pin an S60 bracket.
