Why an Excavator’s Strength Lives in Its Hydraulics

The diesel engine in an excavator never digs. It spins hydraulic pumps that pressurise oil to over 300 bar, and that pressure is what raises the boom, curls the arm and rips with the bucket. The end result is breakout force of several tonnes right at the teeth.
The attachment decides
But an excavator is only as strong as the attachment on the end of it. At Attachment Warehouse you buy excavator attachments straight from the manufacturer, with no middlemen: buckets, attachment brackets and accessories for every machine class, shipped across Europe.
Which attachment do you wear out fastest? We asked on Instagram. If it is time for a new bucket, you will find every excavator bucket in the category.
