Nearly 30 metres of demolition reach. What does that actually mean on site? Here are four equipment stories we covered on 4 September.

1. Kobelco SK650DLC-11

Kobelco's 80.8-tonne SK650DLC-11 carries a 3.7-tonne tool to a 28.2-metre pin height. In its separate-boom configuration it can handle tools up to 6.1 tonnes.

2. Develon DX35Z-7K

Develon’s updated 4,040 kg DX35Z-7K meets Stage V and Tier 4 Final without a DPF or SCR. It still uses DOC and EGR, so the headline does not mean the machine has no emissions controls.

3. JCB LiveLink as standard

JCB now includes LiveLink hardware and a five-year subscription across its mini excavator and site dumper ranges, covering location, utilisation, fuel, maintenance, faults and theft alerts.

4. Kubota SVL75-3 built in Kansas

Kubota has started U.S. production of the SVL75-3 compact track loader in Salina, Kansas.
