When should you reach for a ripper instead of a breaker?
A ripper is the first choice on frost, roots, and compacted soil. It tears and lifts; a breaker shatters. On frozen or root-bound ground a ripper is usually faster and quieter, and it keeps the breaker free for solid rock and concrete.
Which size fits my machine?
Pick the tooth by hitch and machine weight. S30 suits mini excavators from one to three tonnes, S40 to S45 covers three to twelve tonnes, and S50 to S60 ride on the heavier machines. If you are unsure, find the right attachment for your machine and we will match the hitch and size.
