GORE S4 tungsten carbide earth auger, 100 mm

At 100 mm this is the narrowest auger in the GORE S4 tungsten range. Use it where the hole has to be small and accurate: posts, fencing, ground anchors and soil sampling. It is made for abrasive clay, gravel, frozen ground and stony soil.

• Pilot and side teeth: tungsten carbide

The body is reinforced steel with continuous spiral flighting. It feeds evenly and lifts the spoil out cleanly, which helps keep the auger from binding. The tungsten carbide teeth hold their edge in abrasive, stony and frozen ground, where plain steel teeth wear down quickly.
